| About You |
Julia is a bilingual first generation Italian-American artist. She was raised and educated in New England and earned two degrees, but she longed to spread her wings, so she moved to New Mexico, which is her true home. She resides there with her beloved kitties and wild peacocks.
Although mostly self-taught, Julia mastered drawing and painting techniques through wonderful artists on YouTube such as David Gray, Jason Walcott, Mark Carder,|Lisa Clough of Lachri Fine Art and Kirsty Partridge . She is inspired by the spectacular beauty of the high desert and warmth of local New Mexicans.

“I behold light and its various nuances, and to these I add color until the subject is born. It is my desire to share my visions with those who recognize and appreciate art and for them to be inspired to create. For me, painting is life, and when I roll my chair away from a completed piece to absorb its beauty, I know I have a lifelong purpose to bring color to the world through art.”
