ACM Panel Edge protection from rust
I am making the change to ACM panels for the first time and am learning how to prepare my own.
When cutting ACM Panels, I use a metal rod and/or sandpaper to soften the edges as they are quite sharp.
This leaves a bit of an exposed aluminium edge. (see picture)
Is there any issue with this, such as rust etc?
Do I need to address this by putting an anti rust coating on the edge?
Can I just roll on a bit of the ground/primer to cover this?
Or is aluminium anti-corrosion enough to be fine with this?
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
The ground/primer I am using is Gamblin (see picture)
