With some pigments, you used exclusively the Watercolor Medium and then with others, you used water first and then said to add the watercolor medium. How do you know which pigments need the water first? Or can you just use the watercolor medium in all pigments if waste isn&#8217;t a concern? Thanks</p>

<p>Thanks, George! Can you paint straight on to this baked enamel surface if you like it that smooth? &#8230;maybe lightly sanded to give tooth?? I would assume that the adhesion would be similar to painting on glass.</p>

I have found a local place to buy large panels of MAXMETAL, which I understand to be similar to Dibond. </p>
<p>There is a white coating on both sides of the aluminum. The specs say that it is baked enamel and it is smooth.</p>
<p>Can I lightly sand, wipe with alcohol to clean and&hellip;</p>

I know that it will return to its normal color once back out in the light.  My question is:  Do I need to wait until it returns to its whiter color before I use them to start my new painting?  </p>
