I am painting the applique with white &amp; want the gold in the recesses. Would the Gold Pearlescent pigment work for this? What medium would be the best? My original plan was to use glazing medium found in paint department/stores. The glazes I have seen aren&#8217;t very metallic&hellip;</p>

I have cleaned it &amp; sanded it. I&#8217;m thinking of painting over it with underpainting white because I don&#8217;t want the colors showing through. It has been dry for about a year. I use the tube rack Natural Pigments carries with the tubes cap end down. I don&#8217;t have the problem of oil oozing out because it rises to the top. I never have a problem with the paint drying out. I will shake the tube before using to mix it up a bit. But it works&hellip;</p>
