I am making the change to ACM panels for the first time and am learning how to prepare my own.

When cutting ACM Panels, I use a metal rod and/or sandpaper to soften the edges as they are quite sharp.

This leaves a bit of an exposed aluminium edge. (see picture)

Is there any issue with this, such as rust etc?

Just to clarify my understanding. That means that adding oleo gel (gel mixture) would decrease the PVC of an oil paint mixture. Whereas a paste mixture ( mixture containing pigment solids) would keep the PVC of a paint mixture relatively the same. Do I have that correct?
